I am a hands-on operational manager with over thirty years experience in a vast range of business operations. My managerial competencies include an array of different market sectors including:

• Warehousing,  Distribution and Logistics. 

• Facilities management, both Soft and Hard service provision. 

• Civil infrastructure maintenance. 

• Estate and Open Space management. 

• Hard-copy Records and Digital Information management. 

• Domestic and Commercial cleaning operations.

• Waste resource recovery and Environmental services.

​I have had extensive experience in managing large diverse workforces (1200+) in many rostering formats including 24/7/365, split shift and general day-shift operations. My workforce management experience has included a wide cross section of both blue and white collar, unionised and non-unionised workforces encompassing operations in metropolitan and regional remote locations.

I have personally managed the relationships with a vast range of customers both internal and external, including large multinational organisations, Government departments, small to medium enterprises and the general public.

I have been responsible for complex contractual KPI deliverables including business growth and daily operational KPI’s as well as long term strategic business development. I have had direct responsibilities for budgets as large as $60 million dollars Opex and have achieved results that have exceeded my performance targets both internally and externally.

 

I have a passion for Lean business principles, Prince2 project management methodologies and complex change management delivery programs and have lead workplace change , safety, and Industrial relations from a senior executive level.
